You can browse our website and play Ronda completely without registering an account, providing an email address, or submitting real-world identity credentials. 1. Introduction and Scope

   These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules and conditions governing your access to our corporate website (https://atlasliongames.com) and our web-based card game Ronda (accessible at https://playronda.ma).

   These Terms apply to all visitors and players across all supported browsers, platforms, and devices. By accessing our website or playing Ronda, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Account-Free Access and Local Storage

   We adhere strictly to the principle of accessibility. You do not need to register, provide an email address, or create a password to play Ronda:

   • Pseudonymous Profiles: On first launch, a random string identifier (ronda_player_id, e.g. usr_xxxx_xxxx) is generated and stored locally in your browser.
   • Client-Side Storage: Your game progression, total points (total_points), virtual coin balances (ronda_store_coins), unlocked Zellij table felts, card backs, and volume preferences are stored directly in your browser's localStorage.
   • Cross-Device Sync: If you wish to transfer your game state across devices, you can generate an ephemeral 6-digit sync code (RND-XXXXXX) that expires after 15 minutes.
   • User Responsibility for Local Data: Because your game data resides client-side on your own device, clearing your browser cache, private browsing data, or local storage without having synced your profile will erase your local progression. Atlas Lion Games cannot restore client-side data deleted on the user's device.

4. Rules of Conduct and Fair Play

   Whether you are playing solo matches against the AI bot (El Haj) or participating in live multiplayer (1v1 or 2v2 matches), all players are expected to maintain fair play and mutual respect:

   A. Player Handles

   You may customize your player handle. Handles are automatically checked against an automated profanity filter. You agree not to choose or use handles that are vulgar, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, racially offensive, or designed to impersonate Atlas Lion Games staff or other players.

   B. Prohibited Activities

   You agree not to:

   • Use automated bots, scripts, macros, or cheats to manipulate card play, match timers, or leaderboard standings.
   • Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics for an unfair advantage or artificial score inflation.
   • Intercept, decompile, reverse engineer, or tamper with WebSocket network packets, game protocols, APIs, or server infrastructure.
   • Engage in harassment, griefing, intentional match abandonment, or collusion with opponents in multiplayer lobbies.
   • Launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, flood requests, or attempt unauthorized access to our servers or Cloudflare edge network.

   C. Enforcement

   Atlas Lion Games reserves the right to reset inflated scores, remove inappropriate player handles, or restrict access to multiplayer game servers for any player who violates these fair play standards.

5. Intellectual Property and Content Creation

   A. Proprietary Rights

   All content and intellectual property within our Services – including the Ronda game engine code, card mechanics, Moroccan Zellij pattern designs, card illustrations, sound effects, musical arrangements, and the Atlas Lion Games trademarks and logos – are the exclusive property of Atlas Lion Games.

   B. Limited License

   Atlas Lion Games grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our website and play Ronda for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

   C. Streaming and Community Content

   We actively encourage content creators and players to stream, record, and share their Ronda gameplay. You are welcome to broadcast gameplay, create walkthroughs, and monetize gameplay videos on streaming platforms (such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Facebook Gaming), provided that:

   • You do not claim ownership of the game or its original assets.
   • You do not sell or distribute standalone copies of our card artwork, audio files, or game code.
   • Your content does not falsely present Atlas Lion Games as an official sponsor or endorsement of third-party products.

6. Virtual Items and Supporter Purchases

   A. In-Game Economy and Cosmetic Items

   Through gameplay, challenges, and achievements, players can accumulate virtual coins and unlock cosmetic customization items (such as Zellij table felts and decorative card backs):

   • No Real-World Monetary Value: Virtual coins (coins) and cosmetic items are strictly decorative in-game elements. They have no real-world cash value, cannot be redeemed for fiat currency, and cannot be traded, sold, or transferred outside of Ronda.
   • No Real-Money Gambling: Ronda is a casual traditional card game. In-game coins and challenge matches do not constitute real-money gambling or betting under any jurisdiction.

   B. Ad-Free Commitment

   Ronda is completely ad-free. We do not display third-party advertisements or embed third-party ad-tracking networks.

   C. Optional Supporter Purchases (Stripe)

   Players can optionally support Ronda's ongoing development and server maintenance by purchasing an in-game "Supporter" badge:

   • Payment Processing: All transactions are processed securely by Stripe. Atlas Lion Games never collects, receives, or stores credit card numbers or banking credentials.
   • Immediate Digital Delivery: Supporter badges and associated cosmetic perks are digital goods delivered and activated immediately upon completed transaction (is_supporter = true). Due to immediate delivery, purchases are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory statutory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Service Availability and Technical Maintenance

   We strive to maintain reliable, continuous availability across our website and game servers:

   • Infrastructure: Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and our game backend runs on Railway. While we aim for high uptime, services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
   • Updates and Maintenance: We regularly deploy updates to balance card mechanics, introduce new features, and patch security vulnerabilities. We may occasionally perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts online play.
   • Compatibility: We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with outdated browsers, modified environments, or conflicting third-party browser extensions.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

   To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlas Lion Games provides the Services without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

   Atlas Lion Games and its developers shall not be liable for:

   • Temporary server downtime, network latency, or disconnection during online multiplayer matches.
   • Loss of client-side progression resulting from clearing local browser storage without using cross-device sync.
   • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our Services.
   • Disruptions caused by network routing failures, ISP outages, or third-party infrastructure incidents beyond our control.

   Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory consumer protection legislation.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

   These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict of law principles.

   A. Statutory Consumer Protections

   If you access our Services as a consumer residing in the European Union or other jurisdictions with mandatory statutory consumer protections, you retain the full benefit of any mandatory consumer rights under the laws of your country of residence.

   B. Amicable Resolution

   If you experience any issue or disagreement regarding our Services, we encourage you to contact us directly at contact@atlasliongames.com first. We are committed to working with our community to resolve concerns quickly and amicably.

   C. Jurisdiction

   Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco, unless applicable mandatory consumer protection law specifies another jurisdiction.

10. Protection of Minors

    Ronda is built for general audiences of all ages. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should use our Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Display handles are sanitized by an automated profanity filter to foster a safe, welcoming gaming environment.

11. Changes to these Terms of Service

    We may update these Terms as features, game modes, or infrastructure change. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of our website or game following any updates indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.
